Smith's have been manufacturing their market-leading Space Saver plinth heater in the UK since 1991. Building on this success Smith's have broadened their range to include larger heating solutions using fan convector technology, and today their products are often used in schools, healthcare and religious applications as well as offices, sports and leisure facilities as well as industrial applications - in fact anywhere that needs controllable heat quickly. In addition to the range of Space Saver plinth heaters there are other products that are perfect for use in the home such as the Ecovector and Multivector fan convector fan convectors. With the increase in applications where the heat generator is a heat pump Smith's fan convectors are well-suited because they are able to run with lower temperature hot water in the central heating system but because they use a fan to blow air over a heat exchanger the effect is to warm a room more uniformly and efficiently. Both Ecovector and Multivector are available with Smart Control to further improve the efficiency and controllability.
