of the interior have breathed new life into this 16th‑century barn. What was
once a series of enclosed rooms now opens out into generous, flowing spaces
made for modern family life. The new sunroom draws light deep into the heart of
the home and creates a calm, seamless connection to the garden, turning everyday
moments into something quietly uplifting.
Upstairs, a new bedroom suite and the transformation of the
former workshop above the garage reshape the first floor into a place of
comfort and retreat. Throughout, sensitive upgrades, new timber windows and a
carefully balanced material palette honour the barn’s heritage while giving it
a renewed sense of clarity and warmth.
The result is a home that feels brighter, more connected and
deeply attuned to the way the family lives, a place where the character of the
