Technology made simple with intuitive control options
A good lighting control system should be incredibly simple to use. We like to use elegant keypads with engraved, backlit buttons that make it very clear what they are controlling and what they are going to do.
Why are we leading with keypads as our preferred primary control? Aren’t there apps and voice control to do all of this? Of course there are and we use them but our experience of talking to thousands of people at consumer shows is that for many, the idea of using a phone to control your lights is totally off-putting. We like to be able to cater for all control preferences.
Lighting should be simple. That’s why we always recommend using the mixture of control options that’s most comfortable for our clients. We offer a complete range of keypad, app & voice control solutions to suit any particular project’s requirements.
Mood lighting means making fabulous lighting easier to use
A rich multi-layered lighting scheme will use multiple circuits. This is how mood and focus is created and changed through the day. An interlinked multi-functional space will have even more circuits, and if this is over multiple levels it gets even more complicated.
Conventional dimming and switching is really only viable up to three or four circuits in any one space; after that it is just too confusing and irritating. A control system which knits all the circuits into ‘scenes’ makes it easy and intuitive keypads make accessing the scenes simple.
