We were commissioned to fully design and renovate a 1,000 sq ft home in Grasmere, Ambleside, with the goal of creating an open-plan living space that maximizes natural light and frames the stunning lake and fell views. To achieve a refined country feel, we worked closely with our clients to adopt a neutral yet sophisticated palette, incorporating natural woods, antique accents, and layered textures throughout.

Our team delivered full bespoke joinery, from architectural elements to wall panelling and integrated media units, and collaborated with the kitchen manufacturer on a custom woodland-green kitchen. Bedrooms were designed as calming sanctuaries through considered choices of colour, materials, and furniture, while hallways, bathrooms, and living areas were finished in soft, neutral off-whites for warmth and light. Lighting was carefully planned to combine ambience and practicality, featuring dimmable spotlights, wall and pendant lighting, and integrated joinery illumination.

Managing the project from tender through to completion, we coordinated all trades and oversaw every stage, ensuring quality and attention to detail.
