Northfield Bathroom
The brief was clear: create a rich, boutique-hotel feel. The space needed to feel refined but not overly modern, with distinctive features and characterful materials throughout.
Deep green metro tiles and dark walls set a dramatic, heritage-inspired tone, softened by warm brass fittings and creamy cabinetry. The fluted freestanding bath adds texture and a sculptural focal point, while the reeded glass shower screen with brass trim introduces privacy and a subtle linear rhythm echoed throughout the space. A monochrome patterned floor anchors the room with a bold yet timeless geometric foundation.
Given limited natural light and a moody palette, we brightened the space with layered ambient lighting and reflective surfaces. A large antiqued mirror adds depth and reflects soft light, creating a calm, indulgent, boutique hotel feel.
