We’re not just showcasing sash windows - we manufacture them ourselves.

Quickslide has been manufacturing windows and doors in Yorkshire for 20 years, and our Legacy sash window has been developed and refined along the way using all that experience. From the proportions and traditional detailing to thermal performance and everyday operation, we’ve put a lot of thought into making a modern sash window that still looks the part.

And when you’re ready to turn plans into reality, we can help there too. Through our network of installation partners, we can connect homeowners with experienced installers across the country - whether you’re looking for a quick turnaround or researching a project that’s still some way down the line.

Inspired by original timber sash windows, without upkeep!

Our Legacy collection has been carefully designed with authenticity in mind, with traditional-style features available including run-through sash horns, a deep bottom rail and 90-degree mechanical joints.

You’ll also be able to see our 37mm slim midrail. At 10mm slimmer than our standard midrail, its proportions more closely replicate those found on traditional timber sash windows – one of those small details that can make a big difference to the finished look.

And while Legacy may look traditional, its performance certainly isn’t. Our sash windows can achieve U-values as low as 1.2 W/m²K, alongside the durability, security and low-maintenance benefits of modern uPVC.

They’re practical too, with sashes that slide vertically and can tilt inwards to make cleaning and maintenance easier. And at the end of their long life, Legacy windows can be recycled and repurposed, supporting a more considered approach to sustainability.
