Dean Bartlett (FRI ONLY)
Dean Bartlett is a chartered architect with more than a decade of professional experience in
architectural practice. He studied at the Leeds School of Architecture, the University of
Sheffield, and the University of Cambridge. He is a registered member of both the Royal
Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB).
Alongside practice, Dean plays an active role in shaping the local architectural community in his
role as Co-President of the York Architectural Association, committee member for the York
Design Awards, and member of the University of York’s School of Architecture Advisory Board.
In 2025, Dean co-founded Bartlett | Mettham, an independent architecture studio dedicated to
the creative re-invention of existing buildings.
At the Harrogate Homebuilding & Renovating Show, Dean will share how Bartlett | Mettham
applies curiosity and care to craft individual and imaginative spaces that successfully serve
people, purpose, and place.
