Hello, my name is Martin Dougherty, Director of MPD Architect Ltd. I am based in Thirsk but cover all of Yorkshire and beyond. I have a keen interest in delivering successful architecture from the human point of view. Having worked on residential, commercial and educational projects for over 20 years, I founded MPD Architect Ltd with a core belief in the ‘Art of Listening.’ In really listening to clients and communicating effectively with contractors, I endeavour to develop solutions together that add real value. I look to create buildings that are enjoyable, listen to the client’s individual needs and encourage an emotional connection between people and place, (or house and home).
